LinkedIn Analytics

Know what works. Post more of it.

Outlieo turns your LinkedIn posting history into next week's plan: which day gets read, which time gets clicked, which format actually converts to comments, ranked from your own account, using the same data that feeds your best time to post, not generic advice.

How it works

How LinkedIn Analytics works inside Outlieo

  1. 1

    Connect your LinkedIn account once

You authorize Outlieo from Settings with a single reconnect. From that point on, every post you publish, through Outlieo or natively, is tracked automatically without you lifting a finger.

  2. 2

Outlieo pulls impressions, reactions, comments, and shares

As soon as posts are live, Outlieo pulls the raw engagement numbers from LinkedIn, impressions, likes, comments, shares, and stores them against each post so nothing sits in a spreadsheet.

  3. 3

Every post is scored by median engagement rate

Instead of averaging (where one viral post fakes a healthy baseline), Outlieo scores each post by engagement rate and reports the median across your history, so you see how your typical post actually performs.

  4. 4

A 7×24 heatmap surfaces your best posting windows

Your best windows are found for you and reused automatically when you schedule, so future posts land when your audience is actually there.

  5. 5

The format ranker picks the length, hashtag, and image combo that wins

Every published post is tagged by length, hashtag count, and whether it carried an image. Outlieo ranks the combos by engagement rate so you can double down on the shape that works for you.

Who it's for

Who LinkedIn Analytics is for and why

Solo creators without native analytics

LinkedIn's own dashboard is thin and buries the signal. Outlieo gives solo creators a single view of what's actually working, so posting stops feeling like throwing darts in the dark.

Founders proving LinkedIn ROI

If you're building in public or running a personal brand alongside a company, Outlieo turns your feed into a clear before-and-after, impressions, engagement rate, and format wins you can point at.

Agencies reporting per client

Every client account gets its own baseline, best-time heatmap, and format ranker. Instead of eyeballing screenshots, you export a defensible read on what's working and what to change next.

Both platforms

Your videos and your posts, judged in the same place.

Publishing happens on two platforms, so the answer to "did that work?" should not live in two different tabs.

Your channel at a glance

See how your own videos are doing without leaving Outlieo, so the next thing you film is chosen with your results in front of you.

See what changed after you shipped

Compare how a piece did against what you were doing before it, so you can tell a real step up from a good week.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

What metrics does Outlieo track?

Six numbers per post: impressions, likes, comments, shares, median engagement rate across your history, and how many posts you shipped in the window. That's the full set, no vanity dashboards.

Why use median engagement rate instead of average?

One viral post can inflate an average and make an otherwise quiet account look healthy. The median tells you how your typical post performs, which is the number that actually predicts what next week looks like.

How does timezone handling work?

Best times are shown in your local timezone, not UTC. If you travel or your account is managed across timezones, Outlieo uses the timezone stored on your profile so the recommendations stay meaningful.

Do I need to reconnect LinkedIn for full impressions data?

Yes, once. LinkedIn requires a read permission to return impressions and reactions. Reconnect once from Settings and Outlieo backfills your history automatically. Until then, published counts and posting-time signals still work.

How does Analytics connect to Scheduling?

The top posting windows from your heatmap feed directly into the Scheduler's queue, so when you slot a post in, Outlieo defaults to a window that has historically performed for you instead of a random time.

How far back does the historical backfill go?

On reconnect, Outlieo pulls the last twelve months of your LinkedIn history where available and continues tracking new posts in real time. That gives you enough baseline for the heatmap and format ranker on day one.
