Overview
This Privacy Policy explains how Outlieo handles personal data when the platform is used. Outlieo is a content intelligence platform that helps creators track competitor channels, detect viral outliers, and generate scripts and posts. Outlieo is operated by Olayinka Olayokun. Information collected
Account information is collected at sign-up, including name, email address, and a password that is stored only as a secure hash and never in plaintext. Profile information is collected when a brand blueprint is completed, including Ikigai answers, brand voice, and content pillars. Channel information such as YouTube channel IDs and public video metadata (titles, view counts, publish dates) is fetched for channels selected for tracking. Usage information, including generated scripts, generated LinkedIn posts, and in-app actions, is also recorded. Payment details are never collected directly; payments are handled by the payment processor.
How information is used
Information is used to deliver the Outlieo service, including generating scripts, detecting outliers, and building brand blueprints. Aggregated usage patterns are used to improve the product. Transactional emails, such as generation confirmations and account notifications, are sent using the provided email address. Personal data is never sold to third parties and is never used to train AI models.
Legal basis for processing
Personal data is processed to perform the contract established when an account is created, to pursue the legitimate interest of operating and improving the platform, and to comply with applicable legal obligations. Where required by law, processing is carried out on the basis of consent, which can be withdrawn at any time.
Service providers
Outlieo relies on trusted processors to operate. Database and authentication are provided by Supabase. Public channel and video data is retrieved through the YouTube Data API v3. Script, blueprint, and post generation is powered by AI providers accessed through a secure gateway. Each processor is bound by data protection obligations and handles data only as instructed.
Data retention
Account data is retained for as long as an account remains active. When an account is deleted, all associated personal data is permanently removed within 30 days. Generated scripts and blueprints are deleted immediately upon account deletion.
Data security
Personal data is protected using industry-standard measures, including encryption in transit, hashed credentials, and access controls that restrict who can view stored information. While no system can be guaranteed to be completely secure, ongoing measures are maintained to safeguard data against unauthorized access, loss, or misuse.
International transfers
Personal data may be processed by service providers located outside the country of residence. Where data is transferred internationally, appropriate safeguards are applied to ensure it receives a level of protection consistent with applicable data protection laws.
Your rights
Individuals have the right to access, correct, export, or delete their personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. These rights can be exercised through the account deletion feature in Settings or by emailing support@outlieo.xyz. Requests are handled within the timeframes required by applicable law.
Cookies
Only essential cookies required for authentication, such as session tokens, are used. No advertising or third-party tracking cookies are set.
Children's privacy
Outlieo is not intended for individuals under the age of 16, and personal data is not knowingly collected from them. If such data is identified, it is deleted promptly.
Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email. Continued use of Outlieo after an update takes effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
